Abstract

The author traces the biography of Cristóbal Villalba, colonel of the troops who conquered Navarre in 1512. Through documentation of various archives, he follows its previous steps by Italy, Greece and Spain. He study the documentation that Colonel received from King Fernando el Católico and Cardinal Cisneros revealing the story of his personal and family funds to reach the hands of the counts of Luque and his final entry in the Historical Archive of the Nobility.
